Terms of use

These terms set out what you buy when you buy EZ Board and how you may use it. Please read them before you buy. By purchasing or using EZ Board, you agree to these terms.
Licence
One-time fee per smart board: LKR 15,000*
EZ Board is a one-time purchase. You pay the fee once for each smart board you license, and you do not pay again to keep using the licence.
Each licence covers one board. It is activated with a licence code and is bound to that board. It may not be transferred to another board or another person without our consent.
EZ Board is not offered for public download. The app is supplied to you after purchase, together with your licence code.
Updates
Your licence includes unlimited app updates for the board it is bound to, at no extra charge. This is what the "*" next to the price refers to. You receive each update when it is released.
Some updates may need a newer Android version or a compatible board. Features may change between versions: we may add, change or remove them.
Installing an update is your choice. We recommend keeping the app up to date, but you decide when to install.
Support
Remote support is included in the price for the first month after activation. It can be given by phone, WhatsApp or a remote session.
Support after the first month is not included. We may offer it separately, on terms agreed at that time.
Acceptable use
Use EZ Board for teaching and learning on the board it is licensed for.
Do not copy, resell, lend, share or reverse-engineer the app, and do not share your licence code. Do not use EZ Board in any way that breaks the law or harms other people.
Intellectual property
Copyright © SEM MEDIA (PVT) LTD. The EZ Board app, including its software, design and content, belongs to SEM MEDIA (PVT) LTD.
The licence gives you the right to use the app on your board. It does not transfer any ownership to you.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided "as is". We work to make it run well, but we cannot promise that it will be error-free, suit every purpose or run without interruption.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.
Refunds
Refunds are handled case by case. If you have a problem with your purchase, contact us within 7 days of the purchase date and we will look into it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
